Its my birthday today!!! So I have had my mom and her partner round for chinese (she paid). They have just left and I feel extremely fat and full. Why do I always eat so much and then regret it as I feel bloated for the rest of the night!! :jOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 607 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts :T

Well poo! Called Vodafone to reduce my price plan and they can't! Am going to try again in a couple of days. Up until July last year i wored for them for 5 years until the made me redundant and they can't even give me £5 off!!!
Done washing at 30- anyone know what hokey cokey is, seen it on some peeps threads?
Going to get tea sorted tonight, river cobbler (cheapo fish form tesco) going to put red pesto on top and bang in oven- love it. With potatoes and veg. May even do a storecupboard pudding too:T
Had a look on quidco as car insurance is due up next week. LV do £45 cash back and £6 mth cheaper than what i have now. But will have to pay £85 deposit so need to try and factor that in somewhere.
Paid £5 into my terramundi pot too
Still reading Martin Lewis' money diet book- it's really good:money:
Now i have a dilema- one of my best friends bought me the sex and the city box set for my xmas present:snow_laug - i got it this weekend as we hadn't seen each other since before xmas. Now i love sex and the city but it has crossed my mind to sell on ebay and put money towards debts- what do people think?
Made another £10 on ebay after postage costs
They play sex and the city a lot on sky so could always sky +???
Looking forward to OH coming back, need snuggles!Be your own superhero :j0 -
I would be inclined to watch it and then list it on ebay. Best of both worlds! I have just had a couple of things finish on ebay in the last 2 days and now have £65.00 in Paypal! :j It has made me more determined to get rid of the bloomin junk in this house!!!Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 607 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts :T

Was so annoyed about spending £20 in tesco today. Needed stuff for cake baking as OH birthday next week and making cakes for my 2 nans and mum for mothers day gifts. Plus cat food, 2 jars (again for a present idea i'm doing), loo roll etc.
Good thing is normally i wouldn't have even blinked by doing this a couple of times a week and now i'm really thinking of it and getting annoyed and putting back what i can really do without.:o
Just made some cakes so place smells nice. One of the reasons i want to be debt free is so i can start my own business. Which is to make and sell cupcakes. I'm a good little baker and enjoy it and i have worked for 2 large corporates in a few roles but mainly as a project manager so i think combining all these skills i may have a good chance. But its a way off until debts are done.
So glad it's the weekend, a pretty relaxed one for me i hope as still got my stinking coldBe your own superhero :j0 -
Well the past few days i have not been very MSE!!
Have bought breakfast and lunch at work for the past 2 days. Had to buy a new pair of trousers on Monday as my trousers broke at work so had to pop to tesco to buy some more!!!! lol
However money wise seems to be ok. I have more in my account and in our joint account then we normally would at this time. Payday is monday:T
Tomato seedlings are growing well and so is the herb garden but no sign of the chilli seedlings yet.....
This sat is the OH 30th so will need to spend a bit on that. Prezzie already sorted but we decided to have friends round friday so will get some drinks and nibbles in, cheaper than going out and have told peope to bring some booze too!!
Then on 28th Rome!!!! yay!!! Cannot wait for that. So need to get away. We have spent very wisely this month so a bit left in joint account which can go towards spending money so no taking the credit card!!!:oBe your own superhero :j0
