Well done it looks like you are so focused.
Just look for cheaper deals on your utility bills and definitely the pet insurance and you could pay things off even quicker.0 -

I'm looking into our gas & electric- we are with eon and paying £128 per mth:eek: . OH says we apparently we have a big credit but what they do is reduce the monthly payments and not pay it to you in one go-something like that. It's confused me- anyone else know??
Off to put the energy saving bulbs in!!!Be your own superhero :j0 -
They can reduce your payments but it depends on what you class as a big credit balance. If it is only say £120 then that will only reduce the amount by £10 per month. When your next bill is due, send them in a correct meter reading and see exactly how much you are in credit by. Ask them to pay you back what they owe you and then reduce the amount to reflect what you have used in the last year. Alternatively price comparison and see if you can get a cheaper deal and switch. Eon will then take your last bill from the credit balance and then will have to pay you what is outstanding.0

Thanks Gemmzie, i am focused as i want to set up my own business in a couple of years and need this debt to be gone and then get some savings behind me. I find these boards so motivational and tell everyone how great the site is--hmm wonder if i could ask Martin for commission! lol:rotfl:
Forgot to mention in my last post- didn't sell the MG- time waster so had to put back on ebay for another 12.99- so annoying as he bidded to end the auction only after 2 days so i still had 26 days left- ah well.:mad:Be your own superhero :j0 -
Don't forget to sign up for the daily scratches on somewhere like butlins bingo. It sounds piddly but it does mount up - I have only been doing it 2 weeks and I have £3.00 in there already, another few weeks granted, but then I can withdraw a tenner which is money for absolutely nothing!Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 607 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts :T
One day maybe I will be debt free0
