Went to Portsmouth store today, they had not heard of the deal, the earlier cat No was also incorrect it should be 533/4063. However i did find that the 7" screen is reduced to £179 from £249 it Cat No is 533/3686, this has definatley been reduced, have not tried the ring and reserve because i am just about to go out for a meal with the wife. Any info on thid deal would be much appreciated ;D ;D ;D

right the number that the first poster is correct but i believe it is only for argos extra stores, i have 3 on reserve in belfast and i was going up today but it will be thursday now.

but i still like someone to confirm that it is a [glow=red,2,300]portable[/glow] dvd player and not a normal dvd player because when typed in it comes up as dvd player and no mention of size or the word Venturer...also the argos team are confused as well seeing the price and said are you sure it's not just a expensive dvd player. ???

i will view before buying but can someone just confirm it is the 6.5 and not the 4.5 please.

I picked one up from Belfast a few days ago - it is indeed 6.5".

The only slight doubt I have is that it is a bit bulkier than others of a similar screen size - but the others are typically priced at over £200.

I will probably keep it, though.

There was 2 left i reserved them both but only had the one from derby so if anyone wants one in this area heanor branch has one 2pm today reserve number045804 don`t know if its still available but its worth a try.
