i rang my local argos and they checked it for me and it was 149.99

I brought one last Saturday from Argos in Eastbourne and is was £89.99. They are also selling the accessories for £14.99 instead of £29.99 if you buy them together.

I reserved it by calling the store and speaking to an assistant who put one asside - the auto system didn't work.

Did you reserve it at £89.99 ? When I called today to a store in the North East of England I was told it was £149.99 and it wasn't on managers special :'( and I really really want one now !!

ok i popped down to my local store and punched in 592/4239 and said "portable dvd player out of stock", so i punched in 533/4063 and the 6.5" Venturer portable dvd player" had 6 in stock....went to customer services and asked him about both numbers and they are the same item, he said none in that number and never heard of a mangerment special saying also never seen 592 as well before and he's been there since it opened.

he did find 6 80 miles away in another store at £89.99 and reserved it for me, but for 2 days only. :'( i did ask for delivery and said instore only. :-/

can i have reinsurance that this is a Venturer 6.5in Portable DVD Player mangers special and not the Venturer Portable DVD Player with 4.5in before i do the 4hr round trip tomorrow please. ???

none in Southampton or Fareham. But they did have stock today in Portsmouth. The offer should only be in the Extra stores.
