Argos-6.5" Venturer portable dvd player 89.99

Just got back from stevenage Argos and they have the Venturer Portable DVD Player on as a "Manager's Special" at 89.99.
Item no: is 592/4239.
It's in the catalogue on page 813 no:12.(cat no is different in the book though).
It's got a 6.5 inch screen and comes with all the accessories included.
Just thought I'd post in case the other Argos' have the same deal on.

unfortunately that number does not work, are you sure it is the right number because the number that similar specs is 533/4063 still priced at £149.

I've got a Venturer dvd player and it is great in the car. It will play copies or should I say backups and it made our journey to France last year bearable. Twins aged 4 could have been journey from hell

i'm desperate for a Portable DVD Player under £100 and not the 4.5 inch screen jobbys, something around 7 inch but 6.5 inch mentioned here is ok.

There was a post about this recently, as its a managers special - you need to go instore and buy it, its not available online as its from the old catalogue.

It's definitely the one on page 813 no;12.
The number 5924239 was on a label on the boxes on display.
The stock checker said Stevenage had 89 in stock.
Perhaps the numbers different because they've put them out as a managers special.
I got the girl who served me to check the screen size for me and she bought one over and it's a 6.5 inch screen one.

The display also said down from 149.99 to 89.99 so it is the one in the cat 533/4063.

im gutted that you seen this for 89 i bought 2 a month ago for 149.99 each.
i suppose its too late to take back and then buy at the lower price?

sorry to sound daft but the other day i was browsing the chat forums and clicked on a link, from the link i found a venturer portable dvd player. have just spent the last hour looking for it. if anyone finds it please post.
