Amazon CS not so great! (First time for me!) (No refund now!)

A refund to a card normally takes between 7 and 10 days0

If you didn't like the service that Amazon was providing then you would take your customer elsewhere. Likewise, if Amazon doesn't like the custom that you're providing then they can withdraw their service from you.
If certain customers have proved unprofitable then who can blame Amazon for not wanting to do business with them?0 -

I understand but if i was a victim of fraud and have one order lost, Why should i be banned? I dont mind i still can shop at play etc.
Thanks dacouch just the answer i was looking for.
I dont mind, I spend over £1,000 online expecially on amazon, so not too bothered. Even though there customer service use to be great.0 -
sounds like the fraud thing is being investigated and u placing the new order caused them to cancel it and block you from using them again.
im guessin it was all done in a short space of time... PLUS why was ur original card not cancelled and a new card issued?! why did u place an order for that amount using a card that had been used fraudelently?!0 -

Because Amazon don't know whether you're really the victim of fraud or whether you're committing fraud yourself. You know that you're being honest but Amazon don't and they're obviously deciding to ban people who make more than one claim just in case they do it in future. Although this is unfair for some people it must reduce losses for Amazon overall.0 -

The card was canceled and i used my NEW card to place the order, It was placed within 1 week of the fruadlent order.
My bank wrote me a letter to query some transactions, and i didnt know what they where for. They said i should get in contact with amazon (As i did place a order which cost £4 to ensure it had nothing to do with the amazon order) and amazon processed the refund, instead of me making a fraud claim with natwest. Natwest canceled the card without notifying my and wrote me a letter, the fraudsters tried to use my card for £1,000+ but it didnt go through as i never have cash in that account (except for like £200 for a rainy day) And that was used up :rotfl:
I understand where pound is coming from, and i dont mind. I know i should take my business elsewhere.
I am still waiting for the refund though, if they dont refund then i will just have to make a fraud claim with natwest (Which they said is like a chargeback) and they would give me the cash. So i am not to bothered. And my account is -£130 anyway because i have also got unauthorised direct debits and getting charges. The joy of someone getting your bank information.0 -
sounds like amazon are in the adark of the trans between u and the fraudsters. natwest handled it ALL WRONG. they shoulda phoned you immediately. letters take too long! hence them tryna fraud u of a further £1k.
rather than wait for it to be sorted amazon are sayin 'whatever'. shame tho. doesnt suprise me with crapwest tho.
i do hope u get your refund tho, coz it looks like they think your also the scammer... so maybe get onto natwest to get onto them?!0 -
I've cancelled / returned a few things with Amazon (although I've bought quite a lot from them too!), and I've never had any problems (yet!). In fact, I returned a product in January, and had it refunded to my card within 2 days, which I thought was quite good.....0

Better thing to do would of been to phone them or have them phone you, it's a free phone number so no reason to not of. Phone CS is way better than Email even more so as you can explain better as well as get it sorted quicker.0

i spoke to them and they said "Oh well the refunds gone through" so i hung up, becuase i needed help. So will wait till the 10 days are up and then going to natwest who i am sure will not help :mad:0
