you have to register the sim card first, just call the number on the back of the sim card0

Or...is your phone locked to another network? If so you'll need to get it unlocked.
Check out the respective unlocking sticky threads here."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
Been on to them Faulty sim card which they are replacing but does not help with the code for this morning. booooooo0

Could someone who has an orange phone get her a code? All you have to do is text film to 241. a message comes back with the code in. if you pm her the code she can put in in a text to herself and use it at the cinema later. each code will only work once so don't post it here or someone else might use it.
I'm afriad i can't as i don't have an orange phone, but i often get my friend to get a code for me.
good luck!0 -
Yes, hopefully somebody did get her a code. I would have been happy to, but its no longer the morning if thats when she could go.
Hope you sorted something beautiful!0 -
for the orange wednesday you have to show the code on the phone for it to work , we tried once just code but would not accept it0

hmmm, you can usually get away with it if it's forwarded on to youThe word is BOUGHT, not BROUGHT.
It's LOSE, NOT LOOSE.
You ask for ADVICE not ADVISE.0 -
little trick. get someone to forward the message onto you (or send the number to yourself as a text). Then change their/your number in your phonebook to the word 'Orange'. E.g. if your dad sent it and he's in your phonebook as 'dad' change his name temporarily to 'orange'. Then show them your phone and no one will be any the wiser. I don't see what the problem is anyway, since as long as someone has paid for the text it's all good surely?!0

I never show the code. I get one forwarded to me.
I write it down, I have just been to see Chicken Little, I just read the number to the cashier. Never been a problem.0 -
I've seen people just read it out from paper too....
I wasn't aware that it worked at cinemas other than Odeon (just had a mailing from Orange- says 'all participating cinemas'. Do you know if it would work at a 'picturehouse' (semi independant kinda cinema)? If its on the orange web search does that mean it will work there?0
