Online Bill Calculator?

After trawling through Google, I had hoped that someone had a website that would calculate my bill if I put in the usage and rates for my supplier...but so far I can't find one.

Anyone know of where one exists? Hubby says he could do one for me in Excel, but that would mean me listening to him for hours while he tells me how bleedin' clever he's being and besides which maths is bor-ing...

Many thanks!

Well I have no idea where its getting its figures from for gas! I put in my readings:

    BG Click energy 6

    16/02/09 read 2009

    03/03/09 read 2528

    imperial meter = £550.05 !!!!

So, whilst having a heart attack, I called BG and spoke to a nice man who did some calculations and it was actually £50.48!!! Phew!

A bit of a difference there!!

    CC limits £26000

    Long term CC debt £0

Total low rate loan debt £3000

    Almost debt free feeling, priceless.

Ex money nightmare, learnt from my mistakes and never going back there again, in control of my finances for the first time in my adult life and it feels amazing.

Hang on, are you saying, you've used 519 imperial meter units in a month? That's over 16000kwh!

The problem is that one does not appear to allow you to input your own unit rates. e.g. with price reductions recently announced by many suppliers, it may not be possible to use to check a recent bill is correct.

Any of the comparison sites in the resource bar above will do exactly the same, with the advantage of also informing you of whether you are on the lowest tariff and so offering you the possible chance of cashback/wine if opt to switch :)

Sounds like you actually have a metric meter if you are only being charged £50. Worth you double checking though, else you'll still owe the other £500 when they discover you actually do have an imperial meter.

On my bill I have a metric conversion factor and it says I have used imperial units?
The bill does clearly say I used £50.48.
