Orange non dd charge

I have 4 phones on my orange contract(mine,other half and kids), i don't pay by dd because my bills are never correct and the only date they gave me is the wrong side of pay day. I'm been charged on all 4 phones for non dd of £2.98 each even though the bill is for all phones. I've spoken to orange about this and they say they can do this, but i would only have one dd coming out if i paid this way. I can't pay seperately for each phone so why am i been charges this way?

    This is the exact same problem that I am facing, I have 3 contacts on 1 account, recieved my bill and got 2 "non dd charge" of

    When I first phoned cust service up, they simply said it's 3 different "airtimes" so we are allowed. Like you, I said that you only normally take 1 direct debit and I only get billed once not 3. They said if you check your terms you will see we can bill you for each contract you have. Just done exactly that and all I can see is in there terms 6.3.1:we reserve the right to charge an administration fee each month for payments not made by direct debit

    This to me does not state they can charge each mobile number, just the payment for the whole account. I will be contacting them again later today armed with their own terms and conditions. - I can put money on them refunding 1 of the charges.. if not, I'll be taking it further.

    If Orange count each line as a seperate airtime then the term: 6.3.1: we reserve the right to charge an administration fee each month for payments not made by direct debit

    Will probably have them covered.
  • Orange are a nightmare,every time i speak to someone they give me a different answer. I asked if i could set up 4 direct debits for each phones and they said no. I'm pretty sure they can't do this,it just doesn't make sense. Good luck with your call xx

    Payments not made by direct debit though doesnt say each number because I have 3 numbers, I only get billed from 1 contract. 1 payment normally comes out of the bank and I have to pay 1 payment if the phones get barred. To me, that's one payment = 1 direct debit.

    I hate calling Orange. Like you said they change their stories everytime you call. I was told that you was allowed to split all the bills up and have them come out seperatly.. :confused:

    Is it true about the india based call centres? or is it mostly britain?

    Billing and stuff like that is in the UK I think with Orange, other stuff like helpdesk is in India I think
