Parking at Southampton docks for cruise

At Southampton the dockside parking service is run by CPS:

You can probably get offsite parking cheaper, inlcuding stay and park at local hotels, but the convenience of the CPS system makes it worthwhile for us.

We get ourselves off the ship with our own luggage and within 15 minutes of disembarking we are in the car on the way home.

BTW Norway is an amazing place. On at least one morning get up very early, grab a coffee from the restaurant and spend an hour on deck watching the fjord slip by.

try holiday extras.com.... or as another poster says look for hotels who offer stay and park options (one nights accommodation and say 8/15/22 nights parking etc...

Does anybody have any pitfalls to watch out for? Somebody has already told us to go to the pursers office and get taken off the automatic gratity list - we like to tip for good service ourselves. But is it easier and cheaper to buy trips before we go AND do we need dollars or Norwegian currency ? Heeeelllllllllpppppppppp!

Get local currency on board. Some trips are popular and Norway only has a limited number of coaches in remote locations so book early for popular excursions.
