Anxiety and stress

Options
really sorry if this is the wrong place but just desperate for advice.

In October last year after i had a chest infection and steroids I started getting a feeling in my head that it was vibrating. To look at me its not -- its internal. Dr gave me anti-sickness pills as they thought it was vertigo.
Its now Feb and ive still got it along with sore heads constantly. I really do feel rough and its putting my life on hold as my head is constantly vibrating.
Dr is saying its stress and anxiety but i dont feel stressed or anxious!! I have stress and anxiety before but never these symptoms.

Its really upsetting my 4 yr and me. Today shes comes home from nursery with a blooming get well card shes made me :(
Anyone any idea as its driving me mad what it could be?

Ask your doctor for a second opinion. Its against forum rules for any of us to give medical advice or discuss medication.

  • Ask your gp for a referal to a consultant, gps are just that GENERAL practitioners, they know a little about alot, you now need someone who knows alot about a little.

I can only echo the other suggestions that you stand firm and insist on a referral to a neurologist or other specialist as the following rule would preclude anyone on here giving advice.

    MEDICAL ADVICE

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this: Sorry, giving or asking for medical advice is not permitted on this forum as it’s not what this site is about. While discussing medical insurance policies, cheaper ways to see consultants, cashback for alternative health treatments and how to get specific medication cheaper (legally) are all perfectly acceptable we ask you specifically not to discuss what to do in the event of certain medical problems (please see this rule on the Health Board). If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.
