Asda Grocery Site - Big Problems Trying To Order! Anyone else?

Hi all,
Sorry for the long time in replying, I haven't been online for a bit. I have finally got the ASDA ordering system sorted, there was a bug in the system that was blocking some users on the new website from ordering anything at all, but gladly that has now been sorted.
the only problem i am having with the new site now is the shopping lists, I can't find a way of adding individual items to an existing shopping list, you have to add the whole trolley, i did do that once & i ended up with 16 cans of beans, 12 packs of butter........has anyone found a way around this one.
As for the sustitutions, you can now chose to block or accept them individually on each item.

I just went on asda to do my shop and ended up just leaving it. I hate the new layout, it's just a higgle piggle mess and I can't find any rollbacks as it's all mished in with all the multisaves and I don't want to spend ages looking through it all for their deals of the week.0

Im having problems. Placed an order on saturday which went through fine. I'd forgotten to add a couple of things so amended the order yesterday - it won't let me checkout. It's been 24 hours now and it keeps saying ' you cannot checkout due to moving customers to the new website'. Don't know how long it will last but it's extremely annoying, especially as ive been on the new website for six weeks now0

I can't even get in to the new site. Phoned their customer services number. Response was pathetic. They told me that I didn't exist on their new website so I would have to re-register. Despite me giving them my membership number, email address, home address and last couple of order numbers, nothing came up on the operators computer.
Tried to re-register and my post code is not accepted any more, depsite it being fine for the last 4 years.
IDIOTS! I'm using Waitrose now insted.0 -
Asda site won't let me checkout either - just gets stuck. Spent four days (on and off) downloading an updated version of Firefox, an updated version of Internet Explorer, clearing cookies, changing security settings ... rung them twice and I won't be bothering again. They suggested I ring my ISP when it's clearly down to their new website! No e-mail or call back as promised. Going to do my online shop at Tesco as I can use a £10 voucher and get £10 cashback at Topcashback.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

I have had problem with the new asda site with refunds. Any of my items delivered with rubbish dates on, I phone them and tell them that the "use by date" should have at least a week on them and not "use by" the day items have been delivered. I'm still waiting for a refund. I do try and have a quick look at the dates before the driver disappears now, and if there is any carp dates on things i tend to hand them back. kinda defeats the object of home delivery really.0

A little additional info. If you phone the Asda call centre from the contact details on the new site, the agent who answers your call is in Cape Town-South Africa. I have chatted to a few agents (when having trouble) in Afrikaans and had them almost admit that because they dont have a real concept of where we are...they just dont care to try and help any harder. I no longer use online (have just tried based on this thread to log into new site and been told to re-register. Tried to re-register and was told I'm already registered:rolleyes:)
I'm off to do my first ever shop in Morrisons now because last week when I was in Asda I had to fight the pickers to get to the shelves!!!!They literally dont care that you were looking at THAT particular item...they need to scan it and you're in their way!0 -
Thanks Polkadot that explains a lot. I rang Asda several times and thought I'd got the same person as I noticed the accent ... very pleasant but didn't really have a clue. I finally had an e-mail from Asda IT after complaining via the website, asked a load of questions, I answered and .... silence. They are going the right way about having me defect back to Tesco.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
