as above
however bear in mind you need a BT line to use the services of sky etc
your cable line wont work0 -
You wont need a Mac code from virgin, you'd know if you were getting virgin through a phoneline it'd be expensive. You'll need a phone line installed if you haven't got one which sky will do for free (I know because I'm moving from virgin when my contracts up and BT was gonna charge me 130 quid for it even though I just need mine activated).
I'm sick of new customers getting better deals than they're offering me!0 -

Welcome to the "Virgin Sucks" support group :-) Calling them for me was the only time I have been cut off for being "abusive" in my life
I went back to BT, as I have had no problems at all with them. The only time I had to ring for customer service as when my router had died, and with no hassle a new one landed on my doorstep
If you go ADSL (as others have said), you get a splitter for your phone socket. You plug the phone in one bit, and the broadband in the other. In effect the line has been split into 2 areas, and using one does not effect the other
Have a look on something like

See what is available in your areaThere are 10 kinds of people that understand binary
