A MAC would certainly make the switch a lot less painful.
Do you have Sky? Their broadband is very cheap (ranging from free to £10 a month), and you get a free wireless router.0 -
just wondered because guy from virgin laughed and said we dont use mac codes now yea i have sky0

i prefer to buy my own routers than use supplied ones
usually overpriced or you can have issues with firmware upgrades etc0 -
do you have cable or adsl internet with virgin? (from the mention of NTL i am guessing cable)
Pretty much all other providers are ADSL which comes through the phone line0 -

By how much money is a free wireless modem/router (as suggested by Marty J) "overpriced" ?
Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:
As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.

I'm with Marty on this one - moved from BT to Sky about 18 months ago and never looked back. Their customer service and tech support is really helpful and never had cause for complaint. Plus the cost is a bonus too! Have gone the whole hog and sold my soul to them - tv, broadband, phone and line rental
