Wrongly Accused Shoplifting In Tesco - Help

Hi, any advice would be appretiated...
Today at 11am i went to purchase some magazines from Tesco - i paid, and then thought i would like to go and look at some yougurts. So i toddled off and at the yougurt isle the mags were getting heavy and starining the cheap t plastic bag' so i put them in my rucksack.
Anyhow out of the door i was stopped by security n asked if they cud look in ma bag, i refused and they asked for reciept, i refused. I told them to go n ask the checkout girl who served me (i know her from shopping there regular), anyhow the guys surrounding me in the corner of the cs said they wont to protect them??? then one manager said why dont we just ban him, i asked them if why they wanna look in ma bag are they accusing me of stealing? They said no they were not, i said well why do u want look in ma bag? They said as someone reported me putting stuff in ma bag in the store, so i said u must be accusing me of something then? I took them ova to the checkout girl and the had put up wiv a barage of staff shouting just show them ur reciept.
I would not show them unless police were presant as i think i may have rights, but dont know as i never been stopped before. Eventually the Police arrived and cautioned me, looked through ma bag n only found what i had paid for (obviously) anyhow they let me go after being searched and id checked i have a stop form with grounds say - identifieds as possible offender in shoplifting then says negative result.
Anyhow i extremly upset and angry with my treatment in TESCO and wonder what i can do? I phoned CS who gave me a case number to write a letter of complaint.....
any thoughts??
What an idiot you have been. You raised your profile in the store. You wasted Police time and got your name noted for no reason. If you do end up complaining to CS at Head Office for goodness sake make sure you write to them in English. I despair at what our education system is turning out! When you type a message it even underlines (with red dots) all your spelling errors.
A few tips:
i before the e except after c - I was taught this when I was at primary school.
When talking about yourself the "I" is always capitalised (BIG LETTERS).
Ma is a term of endearment for your mother. I think you mean "my" which has a totally different sound!.
I have a picture of you now in my mind. If you get rid of that "big chip" on your shoulder you'll make life a lot easier for yourself.Keep SmilingSite member number 24

Oh, and now that we know you actually bought TWENTY-THREE copies(!) of 'Best' magazine in one go I can fully understand why you got pulled up!
Probably starring in a feature in it....titled....'whys i kep gettin pulled by the sekurity gardz???'.......'' A man who defends himself, has a fool for a client''0 -
I understand why people are unsympathetic but surely the basis of English law is "innocent until proved guilty" and it's up to the security guard/police to prove him guilty not him to prove himself innocent?Sell £1500

No but the same could be said of the security guards who could have asked the checkout operator as he suggested. Six of one and half a dozen of the other if you ask me.Sell £1500

Maybe, just maybe he didn't actually 'buy' 23 copies hence why he caused so much fuss.... I often thought after I've done my shopping 'ooo I'd just like to go & look at some yoghurts'....... Yeah ok....
All sounds a bit strange & OP has made a rod for his own back, can't imagine that the security in that store will forget him now! Still, he'll give the complaints dept @ Tesco a good laugh when he sends in his complaint, firstly for the cheek that he is complaining to them when he could've just produced a receipt & secondly that awful english grammar!! :rolleyes:0 -
