F.A.O. Anyone wanting to end their Orange Contract.
F.A.O. Anyone wanting to end their Orange Contract.
Currently Orange are not providing available inclusive minutes on their 150 service. This sad state of affairs is now running into several weeks.
See the following discussion:-

I think anyone who is part way through their contract with Orange and wants to end it prematurely, this would be an ideal 'get out'.
Worth a try me thinks
I'm in a ridiculous situation at the moment where I'm reluctant to use my Orange contract phone incase I'm out of inclusive mins and being charged 35p a min. So I'm using a PAYG sim at 15p per min. When Orange finally get their act together and I get my bill, how will I feel if I had UNUSED mins all along

As with any dispute over contractual obligations you should take legal advice before canceling a contract you have entered into. Appologies if this was not clear from my previous post.

You now have 2 threads on the subject, and this post is identical to the one a few minutes ago. I appreciate you are upset about this, but double-posting it is still possible abuse.
Your previous advice about Ofcom's role and position is open to question, and so is the suggestion that people cancel the contract, without very carefully considering the Terms and Conditions, and any cashback terms that may apply to them.0 -
I've clarified the situation with cancelling a contract.
With regard to a double post - I felt the interesting possibilty of cancelling the contract worthy of a thread on it's own.
Perhaps members have used 'poor service' as a way out their contract in the past.
All views welcome.

Edit:
why don't you just reset the timers on your phone so you know when you are approaching the end of your inclusive minutes, or use online billing? #
Or is that not working either?0 -
The onlines not working either and even if it was thats no good if you are out & about using your phone. Timer is out of the question in my case as I've got a stack of weekend mins. Incidentally the guy at Orange said it was caused by a virus0
