Marriott Dalmahoy - my s-i-l got married there and it was excellent - it's outside Edinburgh, is fairly close to the airport for friends and family flying in, close enough for the West Coast and East coast contingent of family to arrive from and it's really, really nice - very well handled, everything went without a hitch, apart from the most important one, of course.;) Sadly it's not very MSE, but then weddings never are....
Congratulations on your engagement, btw:D:beer:
did you look at the Dalmahoy?
not done in Marquees, gorgeous building, surrounded by acres of greenery etc...Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

My daughter is getting married here http://www.dalmenypark.com/index.php
July 2010. The wedding co-ordinator has been very helpful. Included in the price is the honeymoon suite, they also do discounted rooms for the guests.
You can choose to get married inside or in the lovely gardens, my daugher is getting married in the gardens.
edit: I never read your first post, I don't think it can take 130 guests overnight.

Thanks moneysaver - already looked but it doesnt tick all the boxes.
We are going to see Dalmahoy this week - they are bloody crap though at getting info out to you though! GR!
(not a bad as Glenskirlie though or the moody people at Airth Castle! We're going to be bringing thousands of piunds of revenue to these people and they don't have an ounce of customer service!)I miss using my infinite coupons at Tesco!
2010 was the worst year ever
But 2011 so far has been a lot of fun! :j
