Is this right-Vaillant boiler

Mine seems relatively easy, I just flap the lid down on the little honeywell box next to my combi boiler and there are instructions on the inside of the lid.
Flick switch on bottom right to SET PROGRAM, using - or + to adjust time for when it comes on, then hit NEXT to set what time it goes off and repeat if you want it to come on later (I can have mine come on and go off up to 3 times a day) then hit DAY to set it all for the following day as mine has individual settings for each day of the week, once ive finished I flick it back on to RUN PROGRAM.
This is how mine works anyway but yours shouldn't be too different to this.

Did he not leave you any instructions for it or at least give you a demo?0 -
My sil has recently had central heating fitted and although her boiler wasn't a Vaillant one the engineer did say to leave it on constant for a couple of days as it helps the air bubbles circulate - he then came back after a few days, bled it of air and refilled to the correct pressure.
She rang us up on the first evening in a panic because he had set the temperature to 24 and it was so hot she had all the doors and windows open (it was in January when we had the snow) and the boiler was making a bubbling sound.:eek:0 -

Just read the installation section in the instructions or give the manufacturer a ring and ask whether this is normal.0

Like many of us, presumably you subscribe to the old adage. "When all else fails, read the instruction book."I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
I think I'm one of those odd people who like to read the manual before using or installing something. But then I'm also scared of the unknown so perhaps that explains it!0
