Just out of interest how much are you selling your item for, just howwwww cheeky are they being LOL

Would love to be a "Yummy Mummy" but more a "Slummy Mummy"!!:rotfl: :rotfl:
  • I have sold a few items over the years to eBayers who ask in a light hearted or cheeky way for a deal in this way, but only when the item looked like it was a slow seller and the price wasn't ridiculous - sometimes it is better to do that than let fees whittle any profit away. One of those buyers has bought 3 other items this month from me and leaves me wonderful feedback, so I've come out on top with that one! :D

They rarely even warrant more than a click of the delete button from me - especially the ones that are sent as a "Contact A Member", rather than the "Ask Seller a Question".

Same as text speak - I tend to just reply with a short copy and pasted "Thanks for your interest, unfortunately I only speak and write in English, so can not answer your query".

if the item was a slow seller i might have said that i can't do it for £20 inc p&p but i'd do it for £20 plus p&p or £25 inc p&p. (actually no i wouldn't have said that to her due to her feedback!)

anyway the item is a good seller, i am the cheapest buy it now inc p&p for this item on ebay and i have no trouble selling them at this price at all. if she wants it she will have to pay more and get it from another seller as i blocked her after reading her awful feedback.

i should have just deleted it but i would feel rude if i didn't reply to peoples questions

maybe next time i will just delete and block instead

So it worked out well really as you were able to block the buyer before they caused you a problem. :D

As I said I wouldn't have said 'yes' either unless I didn't think the item would sell well. I wonder why the buyer chose you and not one of the more expensive sellers?
