Mmmmmmmm checked current invoice online shows: Wireless Router + Handling Fee24 February£40.00:angry::angry:

However, as a good MS, I'm not done yet and am currently contesting that I wanted to uplift to L size from my existing M size package.

Wow, what did you say? I challanged it by email (I wasn't in the mood for the Indian call centre) and have been told to return it within 7 days - of course, they didn't say to which address so will advise when known.

Aparently, they are not interested in taking my money to 'go large'.

Just phoned 150 and said I had ordered a wireless router that I thought was going to be free, but had now found there was a charge of £40, she checked and said there was, I said I was not prepared to pay the £40, she then said she would go and see what she could do and came back a couple of minutes later and said she had credited the £40 and I could keep the router.
Did not have to talk to Indian call centre thankfully.

No worries, it's a thankless task getting it wrong!

I called them up too, spoke to someone in Bellshill tried the uplift to L argument but best he could do was meet me 1/2 way on the charge (£20).

So to send it back, it goes by recorded post to:

    Virgin Media
    1 dove Wynd
    Strathclyde Buss Pk
    Bellshill
    ML4 3AL

and you get a full credit :j

Meantime, I had, seperatly, lost the ability to log into my account with VM online. I mentioned in pasing that it was easier to incur debt online with VM than to settle bills. This is also being fed back to their web team but I still didn't get a free router - oh well Cudos to those that do and apologies to those that don't:rolleyes:

So, just to polish off this tale of woe...

I just recieved a call from VM on an unrelated issue. they offered to let me keep the router and credit my account with £40.

So there you go, it was free after all. :)
