I too recommend the Isle of Wight - its lovely.
Or, we have also been to Devon, staying at Woolacombe Bay. The parks were great with a variety of accomodation types, the staff friendly, and an open top bus runs you down to the nearest beach which is delightful and great for kite flying.
Hope you have a fun holiday.

I love Isle of Wight too, beautiful place and some good places for children to visit, ie, Black Gang Chime www.blackgangchine.com/, the needles www.theneedles.co.uk/ and the waxworks www.bradingtheexperience.co.uk/ for starters.
Alternatively if you don't fancy IOW, Park Holidays has a number of holiday camps around the southern part of this country http://www.parkholidaysuk.com/The Very Right Honourable Lady Tarry of the Alphabetty thread-I just love finding bargains and saving moneyI love to travel as much as I can when I canLife has a way to test you, it's how you deal with this that matters0 -
You don't say how old your children are , if they are fairly young they will love this place... the couple that run it are just so freindly and love it if the children come to feed the animals.. they also do wonderful home cooked meals that you can order daily to eat in your own comfortable cottage... scrummy
