in the UK. Im hoping to take myself dh and two children away for the weekend of the 22nd May for 3 nights. Kids love Haven but unfotunately we hated it. Is there any where else people have been too and loved. We would love a pool and entertainment but either one or the other would be ok. Hoping we can do it for £500 or less ( not counting spending money) . Priced CP and dont fancy paying the prices, been before and cant understand how they can charge wot they do:eek: Also prefer to avoid hotel with young children. Hoping someone has some ideas as ive trailed net for two days and cant come up with anything lol!!
Thanks
Thanks
I hope that my child, looking back on today
Will remember a mother who had time to play;
Because children grow up while you're not looking,
There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
So, quiet now cobwebs, dust go to sleep.
I'm nursing my baby, and babies don't keep.

I have been to Potters (in Norfolk) loads of times. It is not cheap, but there is a wide variety of entertainment for adults and kids. The food is really good, and you can eat as much as you like. Second, third, ad infinitum helpings are offered at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Wear loose clothing.
Highly recommended. (I DO NOT WORK THERE nor receive any COMMISSION - covering my back here from all the hecklers).
We could all learn a little something from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.0 -

I also hate Haven Camps and i didnt like butlins, however we did try haven Hafan y Môr in Pwllheli North Wales and we really liked it, the pool is huge, theres all new things there now.
When we use to go, we booked privately, i find this alot cheaper and you can get a top class caravan for half the price you would pay haven!
