    Firstly, don't feel guilty. Secondly, don't be treated like a piece of dung!

    I think he is just jerking your chain to see how you react and what he can get away with. If he sees you as a bad person, perhaps you should be bad enough to let him do his own washing and ironing! Hope he was paying you rent too?

    Guilt is sooo easy to push on to parents, but when thing go wrong you will be the first person they contact! Sit him down, tell him that you are the owner of the home, how things are and how things will be, if he is not happy at 18 years old he is an independent adult and there is the door plus get him to leave the key behind.
