Some banks do have a £250 limit as standard for withdrawals - mum had a full current account with Maestro card (£100 cheque guarantee) with Yorkshire Bank and her withdrawal limit was £250. OH's (and mine, presumably) is £250 with A&L. Yorkshire Bank currently has a daily cashpoint withdrawal limit of £350, and has done so since at least March 2007.0
