Hello everybody,

Today I am sporting the leftovers of a works xmas party and am very disgusted that there is no cure!!!!!! ::) ::)
what's this world coming to I want some boffin to invent a little pill that you take at bedtime and it absorbs all the booze so you can get up first thing in the morning feeling fresh as a daisy with no side affects? and are able to drive? :P
Im buggered this morning im going on holiday is 2 days and need to buy loads and darn't get near a car hubby was more drunk than me so we are buggered?  :o
They have the morning after pill why not the night before pill? of course it would have to be combined with the morning after pill so you could get p#ssed,have sex,sober up AND not get pregnant! what a great idea? ;D ;D ;D LOL.
Anyone else got any other ideas? ??? ???


Please don't say stop drinking I would be ill if to much blood got into my alcohol stream :P :P

Next time you have a few sherberts, I can recommend Smirnoff vodka. I've never had a hangover after a night on the Smirnoff.

i've heard of a 'Tea sandwich'

a pint of sweet tea before drinking and another pint of sweet tea after.

not much use to you though......

fresh air, fried food, paracetamol and sleep......

there is a pill available which claims to reduce the effects of a hangover.

it's called ru21, available in boots for about a fiver for a pack i think.

from what i remember it was found by some group trying not to get drunk, whilst trying to get others drunk to interrogate them. they found that they were still drunk but didnt feel so bad the next day.

i think you take one pill before every drink (equiv to half a lager). think i decided that if you had a session, a pack would do you for the night. other than that, cant remember how many pills per pack, but i would pay an extra fiver for a non hangover!

if anyone tries these out, or has tried them already, can you post some feedback? ;D

There was a freebie of them on quite a while ago. I got them, but gave them to my sister. The ones she had were big yellow tablets. She said they worked, but it was annoying to have to keep taking tablets between each drink.

think i could put up with the annoyance instead of a hangover! did she not get any hangover symptoms at all?

Get some 'Milk Thistle Complex' tablets from your local health food store. Take a couple before you start boozin and, if you remember/are capable a couple more before you go to bed. I spent Euro 2004 in Torremolinos larging it every night and always woke up fresh as a daisy.

Not sure how they work but it's sommat to do with getting the toxins out of your liver. Bodybuilders use them to counteract steroid liver damage ( so i'm told ).

Drink a pint of orange juice and take a couple of aspirin before going to bed. Thins the blood and replaces the sugar and water lost by alchohol.

There are times like this when I wish I could crash together a couple of pot lids to see if you are still awake (really use to annoy DW) ... have a good holiday.

Usually if I manage to drink a pint of water before going to bed, I'm fine and dandy next morning.

If I fdorget my hangover cure is.......

1 banana
1 smalll carton of pure orange
1 bottle of lucozade
2 painkillers

Works a treat and I'm usually dandy in about an hour ;D

Doesn't work on holiday, absynth induced hangovers though :-X
