Do you know which make (or ebay seller?)
    Thanks

We have used different ebay sellers and different service providers on our last 2 trips. Reason being that the sellers come and go and the network offers vary. Currently the offers on the go are not as good as we've had in the past, but are still worth considering.

The ebay sellers I currently have on my favourites list for the purchase of US SIMs are;-

    cellplan4u123
    ctw distribution

Note that these are all US based. The UK sellers are dearer and we have had no probs from buying from US sellers previously.

If I have say 300 minutes, do I lose a minute of my allowance for each minute I'm receiving calls?

Yes, that's how it works. Some service providers (eg Tuyo) also charge a fee for each call received or made, in addition to the no of minutes used (Tuyo is 10c per call).
  • You sure a UK Walmart will take a US product back? Any experience of doing this yourself?

NO You take it back to a US walmart on the morning you leave the country, as far as I know the only UK store that will take refunds from its US counterpart is COSTCO.
