I have a samsung g600 that was locked to Virgin.
I want to change it to 02.
I went to the free unlock websites but after using the free unlock codes my imei code is now set to
000000 00 000000/0
Any advice much appreciated

You've bricked it. That method of unlocking is known to do this on modern Samsungs. It won't work on any network with the IMEI set to all 0 (as you've found out). Samsung may repair it but you've voided the guarantee so it'll be chargable...0

OK, it'll doing everything apart from the phone functions or anything that needs it to connect to a network. As a G600 isn't a smartphone I can't see it's much use as it is. Samsung will fix it, but I'm sure that they'll change the op as there aren't many ways of ending up with a phone with the IMEI set to all 0's0

I took it to my local mobile phone repair shop and a very nice gentleman sorted out the problem for a fiver.
