DLA decision 'NO' how to appeal??

well I haven't a clue what is a good IQ score, nor a bad one! but all I say is that with a good few years working in the medical sector and also having a degree in what's more easily known as "writing letters and creating documents" I just assumed that may be I was in a better position than others to do the forms myself, I simply wouldn't have wanted ot take up the time of an advisor if I didn't need it, also the fact that I'm applying for DLA in the first instance is because i beleive I'm entitled to it and that i meet the criteria, therefore why should i assume that i wont be accepted? if it was going to go to the tribuneral stage from the begining, then why not get to that point on my own!thanks for your advice, I was only asking questions though, I didn't say I was ignoring advice, and if you luck back through the thread you will see that I did post to say thanks for the great advice, and that I would call those suggested by yourself and others for advice, this i did. I think both you and me have got the wrong end of the stick (so to speak) lets agree to settle this one all smiles and happy faces : )DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 315Married 03/04/2010with many thanks to MSE Wedding boardLO 23/03/12 Special thanks to TTC thread0

I meant to quote you saying 'Oral is hearing is best'.
So then if you know the best option, it makes not sense to explore options that are not in your best interest.
Everyone here is just trying to give you the best advice they can, me included.
Finding you links that will help with your understanding of the process, all takes time and research, given freely.
Munchie
Munchie, I was simply wanting to know what all the options were, I would never go straight for something without knowing what the other options were. I thought may be another option would be to see an independant Dr or for them to send one of their Dr's to me! as they haven't even suggested that i be assessed by a Dr ......Thanks for all your advice. I really appreciate it and as I did post ealier, i was grateful and would contact the people i have been advised to for advice. may be if i hadnt skipped ahead so much in my posting, from going it alone to receiving the papers. but to be honest i did only ask a question about the tribuneral process and what i should be looking for when going through the forms, which was in prep for my appointment at the CAB.Thansk though, lets leave it there : )DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 315Married 03/04/2010with many thanks to MSE Wedding boardLO 23/03/12 Special thanks to TTC thread0 -
The DLA form is notorious for good reason - my social workers manager, who has helped more than the odd one or two reckons that no-one should ever attempt to do them on their own. The DWP don't much care if you can write a letter if you're claiming you can't walk (unless of course you're claiming you can't and need care)! Do your homework, it will help, but take all the help that's on offer!
