    Hi everyone....

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments, replies and posts, you are all stars!

Lensman, definitely warmer in the south. We had real spring like weather over the weekend and it was really warm in the sunshine. Here in the north east the sun doesn't seem to come out until later in the day an awful lot of the time. Lots of winter woolies still.

I don't mind you hijacking my thread - feel free everyone ..;)

Take aways .... yummy, never really treat myself so it was a real pleasure, especially the duck pancakes!

I got my letter from the OR office yesterday confirming that I can keep my car. Only a little middle aged fiat but it seemed really important to keep it, not just because of the practicality of getting to and from work - I really love the car!

supa girl... Thanks for your kind words.
BR is indeed a journey and even though it doesn't seem too hard or eventful it obviously does take a great deal out of us mentally. I have realised that it only takes one or two things to go wrong together and I am sliding into depression again. It is obviously a very emotional time and I am working on recognising the warning signs and trying to learn the skills needed to prevent it. Yet again, I have to praise my psychologist who has been with me/us every step of the way and has helped me so much. I hardly recognise myself from the person who 6 months ago was truly floundering, in every way.

I have even taken off the anonyomous/withheld calls barred feature from my telephone line. It is a few pounds a month and I don't feel I need it now, a little saving. I shall also take another meter reading and make sure my electric bill doesn't hold any more nasty surprises for me. £88 for 5 weeks was a bit steep earlier on this year!

This weeks highlight was my riding lesson on Weds when I rode a really beautiful horse who was so sweet. It put such a big smile on my face that lasted until yesterday.... :o

That's it really - a couple of "normal" shifts today and tomorrow and a day off on Sunday. Chill time!

Be good everyone and lots of hugs to you all.

    Thanks phil,

Do I get anything else after the OR interview, like a report or summary or anything?
He did say that I would probably not hear from them again, but I was wondering about my SOA and stuff like that.
    Or, is that it?

It'll probably go quiet now for a while...they might send you notification of your car exemption but apart from that the OR sounds like he/she's happy with your SOA otherwise they'd have questioned it...next time you hear from them hopefully it'll be paperwork for an ED

2 months now. Blimey you are nearly a veteran of this BR malarky :D. Apologies to those who are longer than that into their BR journey and discharge :o.

Enjoy your chill time as that is time that is very precious.

    Thanks ym,

I very quietly asked my manager if I was needed on Sunday and the answer was No .... hallelujah, I could get used to this day off business...

Mind you I did do a 12 hour shift yesterday and mega busy next week with the Cheltenham festival... so I am not feeling too guilty!

I hope the sun keeps shining.

Yes it's funny how I measure the calendar by sporting events and when it is Cheltenham followed by the Grand National you just know that it will be summer before we know it! Where is this year going?
