non-food uses for rice, all suggestions welcomed!

Use it to line a large bin bag, its covered in mice P!!s, why would you keep it for anything ??? Let it go......

I'd throw it away if mice have been round it hon, to be on the safe side

Look in your local paper for a wedding nearby. Pack the rice in pretty little bags, then turn up to the wedding and sell them to the guests. :money:

Probably best if you don't mention the mice though. :whistle:

hi ,i saw the freecycle add too lol.
would it be possible to cook it and then mulch it in your compost heap if you have one , i dont know if you can put it in the compost dry .

weezl...its your good friend isom here...talking gently to you...let go of the rice...put it in the compost and accept that its only use is as compost. Then breathe.....I mean bags etc lovely...but come on pepys...its covered in mouse wee. Have anyone of you smelt mouse wee? yeugh!! hugs weezl....just think nice compost means its not gone to waste plus a we mouse family will have had a lovely meal! Manu cat says shes very happy to come and wander round the house if it will help scare the mices away although mummy still thinks alfie cat weeing would be more effective!

If you want I can but you must wash rice properly first!!! Sewing machine indeed sexy...am gonna see if I can knit with utube instructions!!
