Debate House Prices
In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non MoneySaving matters are no longer permitted. This includes wider debates about general house prices, the economy and politics. As a result, we have taken the decision to keep this board permanently closed, but it remains viewable for users who may find some useful information in it. Thank you for your understanding.
Here's a thing Generali. I respect you as a pretty balanced and decent sort of person on here, lots of useful information and a few jokes - all good stuff. Very rarely in rant mode against anyone or anything. But when it comes to Labour / Brown / Socialists you seem to go off into PickledPink mode.
Just an observation.
A perfectly fair one.
I hate them (as you can probably tell). It's because their impact is so far removed from the claims of what they're trying to do. They've come close to destroying the British economy at least once and are trying their damnedest to do it again.
I think, If Jeremy Paxman were to ask Gordon Brown if he is ready to drink hemlock yet, Gordon would ask for a double.
More likely to say "well, Jeremy, we will do everything in our power to ensure that hemlock is available globally for hard-working hemlock drinkers"...
