Hellooo lovely flying people...
I'm determined to be 'in' this week, have been a bit down in the dumps for the last two weeks and achieved absolutely nothing at all - the kitchen seems to have imploded - I keep cooking and creating lovely tasty dinners but creating more mess rather than tidying any of it up. So today OH spent almost every waking hour washing up and then cooked the most beautiful roast chicken...
So tomorrow I am going to start afresh - and I'm so pleased it's the living room to start cos if thats tidy at least I can chillout tomoro night without looking at a pile of rubbish.
MACAW - to be more cheerful!!! :A

Evening, another week to start flying.
Anyway had a fairly productive day, freecycled the old fridge, dumped the freezer and other assorted rubbish that was stacking up again outside the back door.
OH made a breakfast bar for me in the kitchen, it looks brilliant. The kitchen looks enormous now as the old fridge was blocking out the light from a window and dominated the end of the room. Now it looks massive.
Anyway, lots of sweeping, binning, wiping, clearing, cleaning, I wiped the floor in kitchen, dining room and hallway.
WM x1
TD x1
Ironed a bit.
Made sure the girls are prepared for school tomorrow.
DD1 made tea, well plonked some curry in the oven (reduced from asda) last week.
It was lovely too.
On the wasted/thrown away bit I binned off aboout a third of the old fridges contents as they were never going to get used. Plus about a fifth of the freezers contents, like glutinous rice balls, whatever possessed me to buy these, gawd knows. Also some chicken and veg that had freezer burn so binned that lot.
I have a very organised fridge freezer now and the top two shelves are quorn and veg and bottom two are meat and fish.
On the money spent, well today I walked to Lidl and spent £10 on DW tablets, a candle, 3 packs of wipes, some passata, some drinks for packed lunches and jelly babies as a treat for DD2. I was good though and didn't impulse buy anything, everything I bought I had intended to buy.;)
Right off to get jimjams on now and chill out a bit.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

hi everyone, what a nice surprise to be the living room
Holly - good luck, hope you enjoy it.
i am off to bed, kitchen looking great. Living room ok too - little ones didn't resist having to tidy too much and today i caught DD1 (v messy girl!) tidying up her drawing things without being [STRIKE]nagged [/STRIKE] asked even once!
Night all, see you for a new week tomorrow :j0 -

Thanks for the lists. I am in again this week but I have year 7 parents evening. Yr 9 full reports are due soonish so I need to get those started or I’ll be doing too many all nighters. In light of that I will do one room to level 3 and aim to bring another up to level 3 by the weekend. The others I will do at least level 1 then as much as I can.fernliebee wrote: »Sarahshattered- I love your sig! MMSSB! lol! My DD (8 months) is crawling and cruising so it has only just begun- a lifetime of SSB before me! Better in the long run I am assured! She already knows what she isn't allowed, but sometimes does it anyway and gets the selective hearing, then 'tells me off' when I get up and move her- and people say they don't understand!
My DD is doing this as well. She will be 8m this comming week and my house is not ready. She even seems to be hiding the stuff she puts in her mouth when she thinks I am going to take it away. I spent most of half term sorting the room out so that there are less things that she can get at that shouldn’t go in her mouth. The work will wait for you to finish showing the LOs the rainbow, but the rainbow would not wait for you to finish the work.0 -

I don't mind doing the housework but sometimes need a bit of motivation. After looking at this thread yesterday i went to Dunelm for a lamp as my other one had broke. They have on offer lots of different micro fibre cloths.
I stocked up and got home and made a start.
I de cluttered the kitchen and swapped it round. Looks much better :j
I went into the conservatory and declared war on the 9 pairs of trainers DH not in the shoe cupboard, the countless tools DH not in the shed, the papers, cardboard waiting for recycling to start back up.
I wheeled the black wheelie bin and put in all the rubbish i wheeled the green pin and put all the carboard and put all the papers in the blue bag. I hoovered dusted and cleaned down the leather suite not a cat hair or cat print anywhere. This looks lovely now but does need a lick of paint made the mistake of using suede effect paint BIG MISTAKE.
Actually looking forward to cleaning now !!! Officially Debt Free Nov 2012 :beer:0
