    Morning all

I'm working from home this morning until I leave about 12.45 for a lunch meeting then meeting all afternoon.

Not too much left on my kitchen list and I only need to do a couple of hours of work to make my hours (am working from home tomorrow too so plenty of time to get everything done). I'll get at least some of the phone calls made this morning too - hair is desperate for a cut, haven't had it done since Sept!

I need to shower and then I'll finish the kitchen and the other bits of my list.

dusty - I'd recommend the kite runner, though it's a bit traumatic in places, captain corelli's mandolin and the time travellers wife for starters.

    HHC 9.30-10 anyone?

I probably can't start off as I'm nipping in the shower now, DH's dad popping the parcel round at 10am and don't want him to think i'm a slob in my pjs lol

Thanks for the birthday wishes - very kind of you. Still not decided what to do so I am just going to get the dailies out of the way and put the WM on. House isn't too bad after all the deep cleaning and I am trying to keep on top of it for now.

Rach/Dusty - I have read (and own) 49 of the book list, and I own a few more that I haven't read yet. I mostly haven't read the more modern stuff. Try Stella Gibbons 'Cold Comfort Farm' - I was suprised it was on there.

Main flying is gonna have to wait for later today - need to get ready, study and then pick up Mum and Dad for his crucial foot appointment this afternoon - thanks for all of the vibes - I've got everything crossed that they don't have to take his whole foot.

Quick grab of brekkie then studying from 10 - anyone want to make it a HHC from 10?

Hugs to Natty, Nicki, Hellsbells and anyone else who feels under the weather

    Morning all.
Got some catching up to do as I was awol, playing Lord of the Rings Online, yesterday. Think I might work from my own list this week. Got some stuff that needs to be done asap before we get buried in the carp mountain lol.

First job has to be my bedroom as you cant see the floor for clean washing that needs sorting and put away. Also want to try and get kids room finished off a furniture moved around lol.

Off to make myself a list.
    Back soon!

    Morning gang :)

Miss A, W and their 2 cousins all dropped at school and :coffee: drunk whilst catching up here so far.

The cousins are coming back here after school as my sis and BIL are at work/training courses today. The kids decided they are stopping for dinner so I had better get to the shops and get some stuff in! We decided on sausages and veg with HM pancakes to follow. Was going to do lasagne but SW4 (Scallywag) is a v fussy eater  SW1 is their elder sis and may or may not be joining us, she goes to the big school and might have a house key (text sent to sis to find out). SW2 is cousin (and younger sis of SW1) to Miss A & W, Miss A is SW3, SW4 is the cousin and fussy eater and last but by no means least is W who is SW5 :D And if you are still reading can you explain it all to me please :rotfl:

Just spoken to Mum and Dad who are spending their last night in NZ, they are travelling to Hong Kong tomorrow via Sydney (4hr stop over). They have had a great time & got loads of pics. Can't believe they have been away for 5 weeks already.

Happy Birthday Hex :) hope you have a lovely day.

Really pleased you got to see the GP Natty, make sure you listen to your body and rest up or you will have us lot to deal with ;)

I am going to sort the washing/drying before I head off to Morrisons.

    Hex, happy birthday :)

Eeeeeek I looked at the assignment cover sheet last night, well about 2am when I couldn't sleep, I thought it was due Friday, no it's due tomorrow ARGH!!!! So guess what I am doing today....

I didn't pop in last night because I decided to completely dig out the hallway, I got sick of falling over shoes so I threw everything into the living room and gutted it completely. I even cleaned (at 10pm at night) the outside of the front door/window next to it. Looks fab, found one of the baskets I got fit on the window ledge which now has deicer/icescrapers/doggy bags etc that were on the window ledge as ornaments before in it.

I've filled and started DW, WM and TD so they can be doing their thing and I will switch/empty when I have my first break aswell as finishing the kitchen list. Right best get cracking, off to the books I go....
One day I might be more organised...........
