xx_jo_xx HHS is Study and you did a HHE this morning ;)

Hugs to you Rose, hope things improve soon. Just an idea with the cupboards, try leaving the doors ajar so the air can circulate. My old bedroom when I ws little was L shaped, Mum and Dad made a wardrobe out of mirror doors on the short part of the L (was the 70's :p) two walls were outside ones and the ceiling in the corner did get a bit damp until we sussed that the door needed leaving ajar. Dad also drilled a few holes approx 1cm diameter into the shelf so to aid air curculatn. After that o more problems. HTH

    Drum roll please.....

    I did some ironing!

  • Hi Ladies,
Thought i would pop in and say hi.

    hex happy birthday from me.

well what have i been up to? Lots but not a lot, IYKWIM. the kids are still running around me in circles, but there is only 1 week now till Sam starts nursery. Scary stuff. We are getting there slowly.

At the weekend DH put up some extra storage in the pantry for me, and a shelf underneath one of my worktops in the kitchen so my slow cooker, BM and food processor no longer need to live on the bench. I've registered me and the kids with a local dentist, and moved Sam into Charlie's bedroom so i can have my office back before i go back to work and not have all my crap laid around in full sight and ripping distance of the kids.

The house is looking a bit less shed like than the last time i poked my head in. I even tackled some clothes mending last night. Some of it has been sat on the chair in the LR since xmas. I will get there. I hate to say it, but a bit less computer time has helped me do it, but i still miss you guys loads and wonder what you are up to.

    Michelle, xx

I just phoned the tax office, as DH has been nagging me to. Turns out i've been paying too much tax  Good job I have DH who noticed my coding for next year was wrong- I have no clue on these things!

So that's one more thing off my list. I'll do a couple more things before I update the list!

In from work and kinda raring to go, I seem to have hurt my back so will limp about lol the noodles have just pinged so I'm gonna scoff them first - I'm starving.

Question One of my customers loaned me a SC to see if I get on with it, only have ingredients to make corned beef hash so I presume I just bung everything in and cover with, is it cold water? and if I put it on high will it be ready for 6 pm? or anytime after? Ta x

  • Hi everyone,

Hope all the poorlies are feeling better. Had a quick scan through the thread and glad you've spoken to the doctor Natty. Make sure you rest. Also HellsBells:eek:. Hope you're OK too. That's just the kind of thing I do. In fact I've done it twice but fortunataely not ended up too battered and bruised.

Glad its the kitchen today as it doesn't look too bad so shouldn't take too long to complete the list. Also got my niece here (she's 3) so she can have a chill out for half an hour while DD2 is in bed and while I do the list.

DN had a special request for lunch: beans on toast. So that's easily sorted!:rotfl: Time for lunch then will be back to do a HHC.

Happy Birthday Hex. Hope you have a good day.

Oh, and a very big WELL DONE :T:T:T:Tto AnW's mum for doing the ironing!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
