  • I'm so sorry SarahNeedle. I forgot to declare a target this month I think. Please can go for 13? I don't count bills and direct debits because they are inevitable, so I just count spends that I have some control over. Although how much control I used to have over my spending in The Pier was questionable.

I try to plan my life so that I have NSDs on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday each week by buying a weekly travel ticket on Monday, and doing the food shopping at the weekend when I am usually spending money on social activities etc anyway.

Last week I was forced to stay in on Friday night in order to achieve my target, but this week I stayed in on Friday night because I had enjoyed it so much the previous week. :D I always feel fairly worn out by Friday evening, but once I've joined in the after work drink it seems churlish to go home "Work hard and play hard" yada yada. Going for one drink, then going home and getting into my pajamas works for me however, so I am planning to continue doing it.
