My Uncle once fixed a leak in his radiator with chewing gum as a stop gap for a short while, got us back from southend once. Also used my Aunts tights as a fan belt !0

You should be able to get Ceelit at local motor factors. It comes in small white packet and looks like small metalic flakes0

I have heard of it in the past but i hate to think what damage a boiled egg or pieces of one could cause if wrapped round a water pump or thermostat.WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..

Porridge and egg in the radiator. A bit of bacon on the manifold and you're all set up for the day.0

That reminds me of a tale a lorry driver told me once, he was driving for kellogs and turned over on the M4 spilling cornflakes all over the road, the police arrived and said it was a milk tanker at the same spot last week we only need the sugar now.WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..

I've heard of it. It is supposed to get you home, although I did read a newspaper article some years ago which said that someone got back to Britain from North Africa with an radiator plugged with an egg.Small change can often be found under seat cushions.

Nope, But I did hear of an egg who fell off a wall and some soldiers couldn't fix him or something, Did anyone know what the outcome was0

But the thing with a leak is that it does pour out so what is the point in using something which isn't suitable? :rotfl:spacey0 -
