Dinner Party on a Budget

Baked camembert with crusty bread for all to share is a great starter. It's about £1.50 for the cheese and that will feed 4 as a starter (I would get 2 though as I love cheese!).
Risotto is a good cheap dinner party dish too, as are other rice one pot dishes such as paella, gumbo and jambalaya.
Or roast a chicken and serve with cous-cous and roasted mediterranean vegetable.
I found a good sharing dessert was a chocolate fondue in the slow cooker. I broke up a toblerone bar with a dash of double cream until you get the consistency you want. Or a basic cheesecake!____________________________________________
