  • Ah ok, so i wouldnt be entitles to help with school meals, or get any JSA or anything then?

Im not to sure about the JSA thing to be honest,i know some people who work a few hours and do still claim it,on the idea that they are looking for another part time job etc..But your only allowed to earn £5 on JSA and after that you earning would get deducted-so i cant really see that it would be worth it in your situation.

No you would not be entitled to help with school meals-And to be honest i can't see why you would think you need them ?
There are families living on a lot less than your partners income alone that manage.
Perhaps visit the old style board and get some tips on budgeting.
    Having a coke with you
is even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona
  • Actually thinking about it your income seems too high for you to get wtc, are you sure you are getting them, unless you were earning less last year?

If your OH earns £19,500 plus your wages you would be well over the limit for WTC anyway.

JSA and free school meals are not applicable as you are still working and have other household income.

If you are currently getting any help towards childcare costs from tax credits that will stop, as both partners must be working 16+ hours to be eligible for these.
  • I was advising on the op's circumstance only.

The household income that the op is thought to be of a good income.

If you would like to discuss your circumstances perhaps you could post your own thread!
