Didn't somebody say that they got a call from the courier the day before delivery? Does anybody know if that is the case? I hope so, as I don't know how you can plan to be home for delivery when you have no idea what day it will come![/quote]
Hi I have ordered alot of things from halfcost and the delivery is usually great. The last thing I ordered was a farmhouse unit and received the 2-3 day e-mail but the larger items come direct from cotsold co. and do take upto 3 weeks ( it is worth the wait tho' ). The couriers WILL ring the day before to let you know that they are delivering the next day. Hope this helps !

    I HAVE THE TV UNIT!!!!!!!!

I can't believe it. It is really good quality, not sure why it is a second.

I ordered on the 16th Feb, got the 2-3day email. I waited in for 4 days, nothing happened. I rang them. Was told about the 14 working days timing and the email is just a generic one. Waited 14 working days. Still nothing. Lots of emails and calls later and was told it was missing, I needed to fill out forms and send them back before I can re-order the same thing. Then wait another 14 working days.
I get a call yesterday from TNT to say they can deliver today, ANd they did. I'm not sure where halfcost come into the delay as it was obviously not lost?

I presume Daisyclaire yours will be along very soon. I would still order again, but won't hold my breath!
Let me know when you get your call!

    WOOOOOHOOOOOO
    I have my furniture!
Got the call yesterday - was out until late in the evening, when I arrived home there was a message on the answerphone from the TNT courier. I rang back and left a message saying I would be in all day Friday - and they phoned at 9.20am to say they were on the way!!

Ok, my furniture....IS WONDERFUL! Soooooo pleased, as others have said, its only very slight imperfections (you have to really, really scrutanise it to find any faults) as a die hard perfectionist, I am very happy at the price I paid and the condition of the furniture - I would order again, but just don't expect to get your delivery for a while!

    Our saga is over Wonderbetty!

Thank you SO much to OP. I have just received the first part of my order. Ordered bedside cabinet and chest of drawers from Pickwick range. I am REALLY pleased. It looks lovely.

We have had awful furniture from B&Q in my son's room, the cheapest possible build-it-yourself furniture that is unfinished pine. I painted them ivory and they looked nice but were awful, awful quality. Each time I open the chest of drawers, 3 drawers come out at once and the front of the drawer comes apart from the side of it. I have to get the screwdriver out pretty much every time to tighten the useless screws.

Sorry for the ramble but I am overjoyed at being able to get quality furniture at such a cheap price as I have been LONGING to change the furniture we had but couldn't justify spending the money to order quality products.

In short, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. This has made my day!!!

    The measurements are in the product descriptions; the 5 drawer chest is 85 x 49 x 38cm, and the tall unit measures H121 x W49 x D38cm.

HxWxD is fairly standard, but if you look at the picture you can easily work out which dimension is which.
