Its a great place, and well worth £4 for a day or even an hour ... you pay nearly that for an hour in most city centre car parks and what do you get to look at there ?

If you want to gio for a half hour walk then leave the car up by the road or in the village, or if you are really tight for cash then I am sure Dessie (the warden) will let you in for half an hour free to look around.

:T:T And the prize for a sensible answer goes to RAYMOND:T:T
There's another prize for Heather for not getting caught in the mud slinging competition that has erupted.

Please no more bickering, I opened this thread and my question really isn't worth the creation of any bad feelings. We all go about our business as suits us the best - nobody is right, nobody is wrong, we just do different things. I appreciate all the suggestions which have been put forward. It just so happens that in my case as a MoneySavingExpert.com user I wanted to find out how to minimise my expenditure for maximum pleasure. Maybe I'll get an annual permit - but probably not right now as I don't have that many pennies to jangle. I'll park at the roadside, that will have to do until my financial garden comes up rosy again.

Do what you think is best Snowy. Though I must say £4 isnt too bad for a carload, especially as it helps to keep the facility running.

Not at you, in general at "the bickering" and was thinking about one poster in particular!
