Birmingham to Gatwick Airport

Anyone got any ideas on how to get from Birmingham to Gatwick Airport for an 11am flight

National Express coach from Digbeth at 4:15am gets into Gatwick for 8:05am. If like me that doesn't leave much time for traffic round the M25 it would need to be 2:20am gets in at 6:05am.

I would try and get a cheap hotel the night before if money allows!!!

Get a train before 6:30am from Birmingham to London, cross London to Victoria then train to Gatwick

Get a text ticket from Birmingham Snow Hill to Marylebone with Chiltern Rail for as little as £5, tube across to Victoria and then the Gatwick Express from there.

Ordinary trains from Victoria to Gatwick are cheaper than Gatwick Express and very frequent.

just done this journey
new street to euston, tube to victoria then gatwick express.
however dont attempt tube with a pushchair and 3 small kids with luggage :eek:

There used to be a direct train but I have a bad feeling the Department of Transport have done away with it. You could go via Watford Junction, which would avoid travelling through London on the tube.
