I am on option 2 with a 15GB allowance. I received an email this week saying I was now getting a 20GB allowance. As it also mentioned a higher charge for going over the allowance from April I have a question. Is this allowance change for everyone on option 2? I called recently about almost reaching my allowance ( no idea how that happened) and I have also been getting calls trying to get me to commit so I'm wondering if this is connected.
If everyone is being offered it I want them to offer me more than a £3 allowance to sign up again.

BT Broadband option 2 usage is going up to 20gb usage a month but the excess is also going up to £1 a gig.
If your out of contract and recontract for 12 months the lowest option 2 price is £13.20.
You have to be in a market 3 LLU area to get the offer ( check www.samknows.com) to see what area you are in0 -

Serious money if you go over your limit! If you haven't already got one, a download measuring programme is very useful.

I also have my telephone with them I have the unlimited calls option and the unlimited calls to certain countries. Need to get another hub since I have the old one. First check www.samknows.com to see if you are in a market 3 area.
If you are in market 3 then you can get a retention deal from BT.
You say you have option 3 unlimited but you may not need this so call 08007076044 (BT usage team) They will check your usage over last 6 months and tell you what you have used. After checking usage call 0800800030 (BT customer options team) and ask for the offers you dont have to say your leaving just ask for a better deal.0
