I'd stay quiet for now as your either £1 up OR £15.01 DOWN! depending on whether or not refund and replace policy applies to web purchases as I think they will have a hard time arguing the point when they so pointedly in their response to the BBC stated that you are getting the same goods off the shelf in your local store.

I can't remember how she worded it to them, but the transaction's going through as if it was £5.01p plus delivery.

She had to ask them this because she'll be out of the country on Sunday.

But she'll ask for all sorts of confirmation when it arrives.

Wait and try to recover the cost, or cancel now and give myself no chance..?

Well, after reading all the posts of successful refunds of prices differences, I decided the offer of two bottles at the reduced price was unacceptable.

I have therefore emailed tesco again, quoting the names of their staff who have authorised refunds for other customers and requested that they seriously reconsider the action taken in regards to my order.

Like i said on the gamecube thread.....watch this space!

3 bottles ? I think Tesco will jump at the chance to offer you these for £5.01 just to get you off their back.

Don't make the mistake i did and accept less that the total number of bottles ordered. Scroll through this thread and note the names of customer services managers who authorised refunds for larger orders.
