Everlasting Orange PAYG sim?

I got an Orange sim from a freebie promotion last year. Having registered it (annoying) I was told that it now had £1 credit on to get me started. As I only use it for the 2 for 1 cinema tickets (one text being 10p) I expected it to be exhausted fairly quickly. I checked the balance and found that I still had the majority of the credit left. Not wishing to tempt Fate, but does anyone else out there possess a like-minded Orange sim?

I think I used to have the Evil Twin of your Orange sim!
My Orange Pay More As You Go mobile managed to just dissolve my money straight out of my wallet!
It would have been better value for money if I had just set fire to my bank notes!
I hope, wish, and pray that you do indeed have a sim card with a nice 'Unlimited Credit' feature :TSAVE Money... :T

Rogerb,
I've been using mine for months and strangely, the first couple of texts cost me only 10p each...
As for it coming into line after topping up, no thanks. It will be thrown away when exhausted and another one activated, LOL....and then the window licker said to me...0 -
someone said you can phone 241 and its free.0

Phoning 241 for the free Cinema tickets is free:

It is not clear if texting 241 is free as well.0 -
