If you are having problems with debts go to the cab for debt advice. You should only be paying a token payment of £1 per month if your are on benefits. Ignore the DCA, do not answer your door to them or the phone.0 -
Mr Cow, I wear a size 91/2, do you have a pair you wish to sell? or give away..?

Yes, but not your size (unless you stuff tissue down the toes)
"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
There's a few pairs @ £14.99 and less on here (scroll down and check both pages)...

Social Fund Budgeting Loan is your best bet
If you are in a real pickle go and see your Local Salvation Army, they will give you a voucher to go and get a pair of shoes at your nearest SA charity shopThe World come on.....0 -
Oh, Hey, good link for the chums site Bogof-babe, some nice shoes there, thanks.
Fallingstar.
I think it's the best way to go with the social fund loan, made just need to do a little research on how-to.
I didnt really want to go the loan route as I'll have to start paying the dca soon, so that will be to lots of money gone before I even get my hands on my benefit..
Alwaysonthego...I sure hope your right about the pound a month thing...I'm squeezed enuff allready..:lol

Is there a forum I could post my details of the dca and maybe get a little advice?
From reading elsewhere on this board it seems their claim to any debt from me may be statute barred, however, I'm not at all clear as to the rules and regulations. I have been told to pay the full amount by xxxxxx date or face further action, whatever that means..it really is affecting me. I have not contacted them at all.

there is a debt board on here, but for it to be statued barred you should had no contact or made any payments for 6 years. Is there a forum I could post my details of the dca and maybe get a little advice?

Ignore them as I have said before they are using their bully boy tecniques but they are not allowed by law to bully you. They will not take you to court so don't worry.0
