is it better to choose a 01.45 departure or 23.45 on the monday, to save me booking an extra days hotel?

If i leave at 01.45 i will only have to pay for the sunday nights hotel, if i leave at 23.45 i will have to pay monday night's hotel cost too?

No because you normally check out at about 11am, so you would be waiting around for over 12 hours for your flight...

won't the sunday night hotel cover the monday morning? i.e up to 01.15
