http://www.hotelclub.co.uk is good, gives maps of where the hotel is and has some good rates0

use https://www.biddingfortravel.com to get the best US dollar rate for HK hotels booked through Priceline (and info on free rebid zones). Previously I've managed to book the Sheraton Towers for £57 including tax. If you know HK you'll know thats the one next to the Peninsula in Tsim Tsa Tsui - very good indeed. That was the best deal I got on Priceline, but there are others. Read the bidding instructions on the above site for specific details.,0

Psychy - I did the same thing. Going for 10 days, booked the free hotel for the first 5 (or so I thought!) but managed to get the days wrong, meaning no hotel for the first night.
Rang BA (no. on the voucher you print out) and they changed it for me.
There is a £25 admin fee though...

k - found a hotel I think I want.... breakfast per day is an additional £5 pp per day. Is that a good deal - or is the big M / local cafe cheaper? Any ideas as to cost of living (ie beer / food whilst on hols) thanks:j0

Is this still a good deal?0

McDonalds Breakfast about 1.8 Pounds (their McDonalds are among the best value in the world)
Beer, about 2.5 pounds?
Things can be expensive there, but they have cheap selections too. For example a three course meal can be 20 pounds in mid~high range restaurant, but you can fill yourself up with a McDonald meal at about 2 pounds.0 -
eating out in HK is cheap. Plus there is a very impressive array of food types. Needless to say there are some very good Korean, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese food, but also some pretty good steakhouses and the like. Drink is toppy in HK, but if yo avoid that then your meals will cost at most 2/3 of the equivalent in London.0
