Hi again - I haven't made the change to the nameservers until I hear back from you as I'm a bit scared to mess the whole thing up.

However, I went into email fowarding to check what it said there and in the EDIT mail forwarding the User name is correct but in the Forward to box it's still showing the 123-reg pop address as well as the business email address. Really hope I'm not confusing things here. Does this clarify anything or make it worse?
Thanks!
Regards

your email is now accessed via your hosting account not your domain reg. you can read it via webmail or do a redirect back to another web address.

Hi again Sunshine - thanks for coming back to me. The problem is that my email account was already set up in my host not my domain! For some reason I hit move my website and email when I was modifying the domain so I think that's what's caused the problem. Any ideas how I can sort - I would be so grateful!

the only thing i can suggest to get your mail back is, reset your nameservers back to 123 reg default settings and go back temporary to web forwarding for your website.
i don't understand, if your mail is already with the hosting, how it stopped working by pointing your domain direct instead of forwarding?

is the address you@yourdomain.com ? or you@yourhostaddress.com ?
maybe your host can advise.

Hi Sunshine - I really appreciate you taking the time with me on this.

My email on the website is me@mydomain.co.uk and when someone sends me an email on that address it automatically routed to my email account which is hotmail. Make sense? It did this before I changed the nameservers but it's now stopped.

I can access the website though when I put in www.mydomain.co.uk which I couldn't before changing the nameservers.

Any suggestions please?
Regards

you just need to set up email forwarding from your hosting control panel (is it cpanel?) to redirect to your hotmail. pm me your website address
