It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

We went to Fuerteventura a couple of years ago. It's my least fav. Canary Island and I would only holiday there again if it was cheap.

I like Corralejo and been going for 20 years. The bungalow that I want is 50 metres from the Corralejo Beach Hotel.

IF i am thinking the right one..it has just been sold to a london couple...is it the one that was converted to a house/ restaurant? white and blue painted ? if it is they moved in two weeks ago.. and i am told by a good local that the house is a illegal build as it was only ever approved for storage and it has just been built on to.

Oh I wouldn't say that. We were in Caletta but travelled up to Corralejio to the water park. The water park was small and over priced and very over rated.

I did like the mall in Rosario.

Sobriquet: The place where no-one used to turn to, but now do and Paradise Island
Never been. Have considered holidaying there in the past - for peace and quiet, bit of sun and heat, and to try the surfing (I know there are sharks). I was wondering about their fresh water supply, but have just read they have desalination plants.

Are property prices crashing over there Geoff? I share the same concerns as pastures about transport links. Also the situation for the island if tourist revenue seriously declines for a long time.
