    ok first of all its probably better to find out what operating system you use, so go to start then left click control panel then right click my comp and if properties is listed then left click it

    windows update won't update, ratings won't rate, now adobe not working, and system restore won't work. i'm on a laptop using vista

    well lively red said the pc is old so the OS may be 1 i havent used eg win 98 or 2000, thats why i suggested following my second instructions and find out the OS as then we could help more,

    well ignore my updates not working and stuff. how do i get adobe to work. i deleted a version yesterdayand today download a new one, says it was successful but still can't use you tube and bingo
